Terms of Use
Version cvam-platform-terms-2026-10-07 · Effective October 7, 2026
These terms apply to every CVAM account. They explain what CVAM provides, how your role works, and what remains your responsibility. Read them together with the Privacy Notice. Company billing, representative commissions, and tenant agreements have their own separate terms.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use govern every CVAM account. CVAM is the property-operations software service operated by CVAMCorp. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority where you live, that you can accept these terms, and that you will use CVAM only as permitted by law. If you accept for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
2. Separate agreements still apply
These platform terms do not replace a company subscription or checkout agreement, a representative commission agreement, a tenant invitation or tenancy agreement, a contractor agreement, or a separate agreement between people using CVAM. Those documents apply to their own subject and are accepted separately where required. CVAM does not sign a lease or other agreement on your behalf.
3. Your account and access
Give CVAM accurate account information, verify the email address you use, protect your sign-in methods, and contact CVAM promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share credentials or use another person’s account. CVAM assigns access through account verification, workspace roles, invitations, and documented permissions. You may use only the pages and records authorized for your role. Do not attempt to bypass those limits.
4. Owners and workspace administrators
An owner or authorized administrator is responsible for choosing company members and their roles, reviewing invitations and access, keeping company and unit information accurate, deciding what property information to share, and making property, tenant, contractor, spending, and legal decisions for which they are responsible. CVAM tools help organize those decisions; using CVAM does not transfer ownership or make CVAM your landlord, tenant, property manager, lawyer, accountant, real-estate agent, or emergency service unless a separate written agreement expressly says so.
5. Tenants, representatives, staff, and contractors
Use only the access assigned to you. A referral code does not grant access to a customer’s workspace or property information. A tenant’s access is limited to the home and records made available for that tenancy. A contractor may use information shared for assigned work. Do not use CVAM to view, copy, contact, or disclose information outside the work and permissions you were given.
6. Information and documents you add
You are responsible for having authority to submit the information, images, messages, and documents you add, and for checking that the file, property, unit, recipient, and sharing choices are correct. Do not upload passwords, payment-card or bank credentials, identity documents, or unrelated sensitive information. If an owner uploads a tenancy agreement, CVAM stores one copy and links it to the units the owner chooses. Company owners and current tenants assigned to those selected units may download that same complete file after person-identity verification is available. Everyone currently assigned to a selected unit may see the whole file; CVAM does not redact or personalize it. Upload separate files when their contents differ or one tenant’s personal information must not be shared with another. CVAM does not malware-scan the file or determine whether an agreement is legally complete, valid, signed, or compliant. An owner may unlink or delete the uploaded file; deletion removes tenant access. Keep and deliver any copies the law requires outside CVAM as well; an upload is not proof of delivery to a tenant.
7. CVAM content, automation, and service limits
CVAM records and tools are provided to help coordinate property operations. Information can be incomplete or delayed. Automated or AI-assisted suggestions, when available, may be wrong and require review; they do not independently establish a contractor’s reliability, produce a binding quote, authorize property entry, approve spending, or replace a qualified professional. Some planned integrations may not yet be available. Use the current status shown in CVAM and confirm important decisions with the responsible person or provider.
8. Privacy and retention
CVAM stores account, security, workspace, property, tenancy, communication, uploaded agreement, service, billing, and other information needed to provide and protect the service. CVAM does not promise that it keeps no data or that every record is erased immediately when an account closes. Uploaded tenancy agreements remain in the company workspace until an owner unlinks or deletes them; deleted agreement files are removed from the live service but may remain in protected backups until those copies expire under the applicable backup process. CVAM does not currently publish a fixed expiry period for every backup. Other information is handled under the CVAM Privacy Notice, including applicable service providers, access and correction requests, account closure review, legal or accounting records, shared property history, and backup retention. Ask CVAM to review a privacy or account-closure request using the contact details in the Privacy Notice.
9. Payments and representative commissions
CVAM will not charge a subscription or other amount unless the applicable checkout or written terms disclose it and you authorize it. Stripe and other payment providers handle payment, identity, and bank information through their own services and terms. Representative eligibility, commission calculation, payout timing, and any hold are governed by the separate representative agreement and current payment status; a displayed balance is not proof that a bank deposit has completed.
10. Acceptable use
Do not use CVAM to break the law, threaten or harass someone, discriminate unlawfully, send unauthorized marketing, upload malicious files, mislead another user, interfere with service, test or bypass security without written authorization, or expose personal information beyond the permissions and purpose for which it was shared. CVAM may restrict an account or feature when reasonably needed to protect people, records, the service, or legal obligations. Where practical, CVAM will provide a reason and a support path.
11. Availability and third-party services
CVAM works to operate a reliable service, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free records, or that every third-party provider will remain available. Email delivery, connectivity, payment processing, identity checks, hosting, and other external systems can delay or prevent an action. Check the recorded status in CVAM and contact support when a result is uncertain. Do not repeat a payment, invitation, or other consequential action until you have checked whether it already completed.
12. Suspension and account closure
You may stop using CVAM and request account closure through the available privacy process. CVAM may suspend or limit access for a security incident, suspected misuse, legal requirement, unpaid authorized service, or material breach of these terms. Shared company, property, tenant, and payment records may require a transfer, review, or retention before personal account data can be erased. Closure requests are handled under the Privacy Notice; deleting the app or stopping sign-in does not itself delete data.
13. Disclaimers and limits
To the extent the law allows, CVAM is provided as an operational software service and is not a substitute for a user’s own review or professional advice. CVAM is not responsible for a decision made by an owner, tenant, representative, contractor, payment provider, or other third party. CVAM does not exclude or limit any consumer, privacy, tenancy, or other right or remedy that applicable law does not allow it to exclude or limit. Any further limits on liability must be interpreted consistently with those mandatory rights.
14. Changes to the service or terms
CVAM may update these terms when the service or law changes. The version and date appear on this page. If a change materially affects how the service is used, CVAM will give notice and obtain renewed acceptance where required. Continuing to use a feature does not replace an acceptance that the law requires CVAM to obtain.
15. Governing law and contact
These terms are intended for CVAM’s initial Canadian release. Saskatchewan law and the applicable laws of Canada govern them, subject to mandatory laws and rights that apply where you live. Questions, complaints, or requests may be sent to [email protected] or CVAMCorp, PO Box 992, Lanigan, SK, S0K 2M0.
Company billing and renewals
The published offer for a new company subscription is Core at C$3 CAD per billable space each month, before applicable tax, with no company minimum. A billable space is one separately rented or managed home or unit. Each separately leased suite in a multi-unit property counts separately; shared or common areas do not. The owner reviews the unit count and amount before payment. Only monthly Core is currently available for new subscriptions. C$6 and C$9 plans are planned and are not available for purchase.
Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. The company owner may cancel renewal at any time before the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period already paid for. If a current monthly Core subscription has no billable spaces at a renewal, CVAM stops future renewal at the end of the current paid or active promotional period. If billable spaces return before that date, the automated end may be withdrawn and the company’s saved rate continues. No partial-period refund is automatic.
An applied coupon keeps the offer and duration shown when the company accepted it. CVAM does not replace an active coupon or silently shorten its stated benefit. Existing subscriptions keep their saved price, interval and terms unless the owner expressly accepts a later change. Unit-count changes are applied at renewal without prorating the period already paid for.
CVAM’s price-change policy is to give at least 60 days’ written notice of a proposed change and keep the saved price for at least 12 months after that notice. Before the changed amount can renew, the company owner must expressly accept it. If the owner does not accept the change, the subscription ends after the already-paid period. This policy does not limit rights that applicable law does not allow a contract to waive. CVAM recommends that business customers seek independent legal advice about their particular circumstances.
