Get back into my accountSign-in and password recovery

Open the CVAM sign-in page. If you forgot your password, choose Forgot password and follow the recovery email. Never share a password or verification code with support. If recovery does not work, contact CVAM support for review; this guidance does not reset or unlock your account.

Open sign-in I still need help
Stop introduction emailsControl the introductions you receive

Open the unsubscribe link in your original CVAM introduction email, then select Unsubscribe from introductions. Wait for the confirmation that your preference was saved. Opening the link alone does not change your preference. Required account and service notices are separate. If the link is unavailable, contact CVAM support.

Understand the representative roleOnboarding, referrals and ongoing support

Your representative introduces you to CVAM and helps you get started. Ongoing help belongs to CVAM support. A representative referral link does not give the representative access to your account, company or property records. Account and property decisions stay with the authorized people.

Install CVAMKeep CVAM within easy reach

Open the CVAM installation guide on the device you want to use. Follow the instructions for your browser and device. Installing CVAM does not create an account or grant access to a company; sign in with your own account afterward.

Check representative payout setupSecure setup and honest payment status

Sign in to CVAM and open Your referrals to review your saved setup and commission status. Use the secure Stripe setup button when it is available. Stripe collects the required bank and identity details. Returning from Stripe does not confirm approval or a completed bank payout. Contact CVAM support for a payment-specific review; do not email bank details or ID documents.

Request privacy or account helpA reviewed route for personal information requests

Use CVAM's privacy notice and account deletion guidance to understand the request process. A support message or help-page visit does not delete an account or release personal records. CVAM must review the request and verify the requester before taking those actions.

Choose or join a companyFind the right workspace

Open Your workspaces and select the company you want to work in. To join an existing company, use its invitation and the invited account. Creating a new company does not join an existing one. If a company is missing, ask its authorized team to check your invitation and membership; support cannot grant access from an email alone.

Add a propertyCompany buildings and required details

Choose your company in Your workspaces, then use Properties or Add property. Enter the required property details and wait for the saved result. If the result is uncertain, check Properties before submitting again. Property management requires the appropriate company permission; creating a property does not create a tenancy or publish a rental listing.

Accept a home invitationTenant access and invitations

Open My homes using the email address invited by your property team. Verify your email if asked, review the home invitation and choose Accept this home. Accepting gives access to that home in CVAM; it does not sign a lease. If the invitation is missing or names the wrong home, ask the inviting property team to check it.

Report a maintenance issueStart a tenant request

Open Report an issue, select your home and describe what happened and where. Submit once and wait for confirmation. If the result is uncertain, check My requests before creating another report. A saved request does not confirm that someone has read it or that help is on the way. For urgent problems, contact your property team directly; for immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Follow up on a repair requestUpdates and acknowledgement

Open My requests, select the original request and choose Add update to describe what changed. Keep follow-ups on that request instead of creating duplicates. Read the request history for the property team response. An acknowledgement confirms review, not a completed repair. If the situation worsens, use the available possible-emergency action and contact your property team directly.

Review and follow maintenance workOwner and maintenance team workflow

Choose your company, then open Request review for new reports and Review tenant updates for follow-ups. Read the original report, record an acknowledgement and separately decide the next action and priority. Use Maintenance queue and the linked work order to follow the job. Acknowledging a report does not dispatch a contractor, approve spending or complete a repair. Available actions depend on your company role.

Find contractor assignmentsRespond to authorized jobs

Open your contractor workspace and My assignments. Review the job details, then use the available accept or decline action; include a clear reason when declining. Follow the contact instructions for that assignment. Accepting a job does not complete it or grant access to other company records. If an expected assignment is missing, ask the responsible property team to check it.

Use owner AI reviewWork needing attention and saved reviews

In your company workspace, open Owner AI review. Read the limited snapshot disclosure and allowance, confirm sharing for that review, then select Request AI review. CVAM reviews work needing attention; an empty company may have nothing to review and no AI call is sent. Saved suggestions link to source records. AI cannot contact people, assign work, approve spending or change records from this review. Check suggestions against your records.

Check an interrupted AI reviewSaved results before another attempt

If an AI result is uncertain, refresh its saved history first. An unresolved request may still reserve allowance; do not repeatedly submit it or assume it failed without a charge. If CVAM says sign-in or verification expired before the request started, follow its recovery link, then return and check history. If no result appears, contact CVAM support with the on-screen message, without credentials or private records.

Manage downtime notificationsEmail preferences and timezone

Open Notification preferences to choose planned downtime emails and your timezone, then save and wait for confirmation. These settings concern scheduled downtime notices; they do not control introduction emails or every service message. In-app advance notices remain available. If email delivery is paused, use the in-app notice and Maintenance status.

Check scheduled maintenanceDowntime notices and recovery

Open Maintenance status for the customer-facing scheduled downtime notice. Follow the notice before starting work that could be interrupted. If a submission result was uncertain, check its saved record after service returns before submitting again. Detailed update progress and recovery controls belong to the Architect; customers do not need to manage server updates.

Understand verification stepsEmail, identity and protected access

Email verification, person identity verification and protected-action verification are separate checks. Complete only the steps offered by CVAM. If the page says the identity service is not connected or no step is available, there is nothing to complete on that screen yet; contact CVAM support for the current status. Do not send identity documents or credentials by email. A representative or support email cannot bypass an access check.

Get help with an unanswered questionWhat happens when guidance is missing

When CVAM cannot match your question to approved guidance, the request stays open for support follow-up. An automatic acknowledgement is not the answer or a resolution. Reply in the same email thread with what you were trying to do, the page or feature involved, and the exact on-screen message, leaving out private details. CVAM has not completed the requested action merely because it replied.

Invite company team membersMembership and role-based tools

Choose the company and open Team using an account allowed to manage its members. Review the invitation details and intended role before sending. A created or emailed invitation is not proof the recipient accepted it. Company roles control available actions; a referral link, account preference or support request does not grant company access.

Manage account securityPasskeys, authenticators and verification

Open Account security to review the options available to your account. Passkeys and authenticator apps are optional extra protection for member accounts; Architect administration requires separate verification. Email verification and any person identity requirement are separate. Follow the on-screen setup and recovery instructions, and never share credentials or recovery codes with support.

Find saved recordsCompany, tenant and contractor history

Open the relevant workspace, then Records. Company, tenant and contractor records follow the access available to that account and workspace. Check that you selected the right company or home before looking for a missing record. If a save was uncertain, look for the existing record before repeating the action. Contact CVAM with the feature and on-screen message if access still fails; do not email private record contents.

Understand rental and sale availabilityCurrent listing restrictions

Open Rentals and sales for the current availability notice. Listing creation, publishing, photo changes, interest and viewing requests are currently closed while the required person identity integration is not connected. Email verification alone does not open these actions. Adding a property does not publish it. CVAM does not complete property offers or sale transactions.

Prepare and compare contractor quotesOne contractor or a comparable shortlist

Choose your company, open the work order and expand Costs and approvals. Choose one company contact or shortlist two to four. Help prepare the quote scope can organize work, materials, access arrangements and timing; review the resulting scope and recipient details before confirming Send. Do not include resident details or access codes. Compare received offers by scope, taxes, availability and validity as well as price. Recording a proposal, owner approval and assigning work are separate actions.

Check an unanswered quote requestSaved status, expiry and uncertain sends

In Maintenance queue, open Online quote replies and choose Awaiting replies, Follow-up or Expiring soon. Open the original request to check its saved status and link validity. Mail-server acceptance does not prove inbox delivery or a contractor reply. If sending is unconfirmed, refresh saved requests before contacting the contractor again; do not repeatedly send another copy. A deactivated or expired reply link needs review before preparing a new request. Refreshing the inbox sends no reminder.

Fix missing contractor contact detailsWhy a quote recipient may be unavailable

Quote requests need a saved contractor email address. Use Review contact details from the matching contact, or open Contractors in the correct company. An authorized owner or maintenance coordinator can check and update the contact details. Confirm the address with the contractor, save it and return to the work order before choosing the recipient again. Do not guess an address. A service profile describes company-maintained information; it is not proof of licensing, insurance or availability.

Submit and review completed workReports, follow-up and final verification

Contractors open the accepted assignment and Completion reports, enter work notes and optionally select photos. Preview the photos, remove unwanted files and confirm the submission. Owners review the saved report and either accept it or request follow-up with notes. Follow-up allows a new submission while preserving earlier history. Accepting the report does not verify or close the repair, approve spending or pay anyone. Use the existing progress, verification and closeout controls separately. Owners can download the work-order PDF with completion reports and available photos.

Recover an interrupted photo uploadKeep the original request and check its result

For a tenant maintenance photo, keep the page open and use Retry photo upload if the result is unconfirmed. The selected file and description stay locked for the same upload. For a contractor completion report, use Refresh reports first; if the request remains unconfirmed, use Retry same completion request. Do not create a replacement report just because the connection failed. A local preview is not a saved photo. If recovery remains unavailable, contact your property team or CVAM support with the feature and on-screen message, without sending private photos or credentials.
